Over and over and over again, MS Word crashes when I try to save my work. I'm looking for an alternative [Appleworks maybe?].

Don't use Appleworks, use Mellel - graceo

To a degree Tex-Edit, a shareware text editing program, offers plenty of features that would be worth a look. It's dependent on Applescripts & I believe it offers file conversion (e.g., to .doc).Friday, December 29 2006 @ 06:30 PM PST
Don't use Appleworks, use Mellel - motulist
Appleworks is great for a lot of things, but if you're looking for the best word processor on the market today, use Mellel. In fact, seeing that you and so many others are suffering through MS Word just as much as I used to spurred me to write a whole commentary (above) telling people just how much better Mellel is over MS Word. Check it out for yourself through the 30 day demo, but don't go by the screenshots.Reply to This
