Fine for iPod...but other output formats wanted

Feedback Type:  Usage Tip

Contributed by: Sune Friday, April 28 2006 @ 06:40 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

It works fine for iPod, for most files, although it sometimes returns an error which completely stops a batch conversion. Not a really big issue.

BUT...I would be so happy if we could get some "advanced" output options - the standard QuickTime output config panel will do. then I would be able to usie iSquint for both my wife's iPod and my S60 Symbian phone, which also plays MP4 (but in a slightly more basic format - the format most/all podcasts are transmitted in).

So...crossing my fingers :)

...have you tried the Advanced drawer?
iSquint should be able to output nearly any Simple Profile MPEG-4 clip.

Actually fiddled with it for hours. But never managed to match the necessary MPEG 4 requirements.

If anyone succeeds, do not hesitate to let me know the parameters for iSquint!

/S.
