Version 1.1 is virtually unusable due to serious problems with posterization. Many others are experiencing the same problem according to posts on Apple's Aperture forum. Until this problem is corrected, I've had to switch back to Adobe Lightroom.

Extremely Disappointed with Version 1.1 - lithotone
I have altered my system G5, 3 Gigs Ram, Radeon 800XT to Apples Specs and love this program, I have not had any problems with posterization etc. I shoot all raw with a Minolta 7D. Aperture is a great program and I am sure Apple will keep making it better.Monday, May 08 2006 @ 06:26 AM PDT
