Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

The 1.1 update vastly improves conversion of Canon EOS-1Ds RAW-files and is now clearly superior to Adobe Camera RAW (ACR). Aperture 1.1 deals much better with chroma noise than previous versions did and seems to employ a much improved de-mosaicing algorithm. Chroma noise is noticeably lower compared to ACR and Aperture shows fewer halos and other artifacts in high contrast areas. Also, the default rendering of Aperture's RAW converter is well balanced. Usability is amazing and speed is even better than the previous version. Apple has got my money on this one...

Big Improvement - halimedia

Thanks for paraphrasing my previous post - do you actually own a EOS-1Ds or are you just bumping ratings as a hobby?
