it works great but if you have 100s of tags it is time consuming to get to what you want (scroll, scroll, scroll).

now, if you could pull down a CLOUD of tags, that would be something.

You don't have to scroll tag, when you click on delibar icon, simply type the first (and second maybe) letter of tag you are searching, delibar will focus directly your choice ;-)

Es: you must find blog tag, type 'blo' and delibar will focus blog, so you can select your prefered bookmark

filing vs tagging - fargash

thanks but that doesn't really help. that method assumes that i know the name of the tag that holds the link i want, which is kind of the same as filing, isn't it? if i wanted to "file" all my bookmarks i wouldn't use delicious.

the concept with tagging is that i don't have to file meticulously, i can find what i want by looking at a group of desciptive tags that are meaningful to me and intuitively knowing where the item i want is. if i have to scroll through 100s of tags it's no good.

i'm just saying this software would be FANTASTIC if it plopped down a cloud (or any other way you can think of that make all tags visible at once).
