Way too complicated!

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

I am a seasoned Mac professional and any program that REQUIRES that I read the documentation before trying it, I simply don't have time for. The portion of the help file I DID read is far too ambiguous (the author would, no doubt, call this "flexible") to be called "simple". I am left with the impression that you really better know what you want to do and why -- and even more important, you better know what you DON'T want to do.

There are no obvious safeguards against messing up your system if you don't know what is important (e.g., why there are two fonts folders, etc. -- perhaps I'm wrong), so I could not recommend this to a novice-client. And, as I said, it is (apparently) more trouble that it is worth. No quantitative benefit is offered that would outweigh the complexity, not to mention the apparent risks. A solution looking for a problem?

Can someone explain why I should look further? Please don't take offence -- these comments are offered constructively!

I would defintely not spend time on any programs that I didn't have a need for. Sounds like you should give this one a miss.

I am not a seasoned Mac professional, just a seasoned user. I guess that is why I have to read the documentation for some programs like Photoshop, or Acrobat to name two. This product appears to be much more straightforward that those.
