I tried the demo for a good four or five hours. Very pretty, looks great, fatastic potential - but VERY frustrating in terms of trying to do a few simple things, like add a link, or remove some of the photos from a template (because they cause a huge gap if you don't use them), or even trying to make your own template - I couldn't see how to do it. The documentation is lengthy but surprisingly light in actual detail.
Eventually tried GarageSale, and fell in love with it. THIS is what I was looking for. Not so pretty, but utterly brilliant. Had my bespoke templates up and running within a couple of hours (took a little figuring out but the online manual is superb) and listed 26 auctions (writing each one, adding image) in, oh, about as many minutes. It even checks the eBay fees for each listing for oyu. Oh and you can import details of CDs, DVDs, books and games from Delicious Library, an excellent media cataloguing program for OS X (and Delicious Library is very pretty with it, overflowing with deliciousness in fact). Superb, bought GarageSale there and then.
So to conclude, I'd say that iSale has lots of potential, but isn't yet living up to it. Go for GarageSale, you won't regret it.
