I use Galerie, which is great with an incredible support, but would like to build my personal site. Rapidweaver seemed an obvious choice to me. Has anybody used and compared these two ?

Shutterbug, or ? - tom2000tomson
I compared Shutterbug with Rapidweaver!Had a page with RW, but after having "nothing" in a windows IE6 browser but text (all design was gone), I completely changed to Shutterbug.
sutterbug 2.0
+ complete easy customizable design, built-in designs
+ consistent design
+ php support
+ built-in password protection
+ best cross platform browser compatibility
+ rss support
- no plug-ins needed, xtra-boxes do all the magic
(-+) extra page functionality has to be added by adding html or php code, which is good for advanced users, who knows html or php
(-+) no built-in email script fuction, but a script is provided by xtralean, which is fully customizable
- no built-in news/blog system (only rss)
rapidweaver 3.2
+ built-in news/blog system with rss
+ plug-in structure for future functionality, for free and commercial plug-ins
+ php support
+ built-in page plug-in for page email script
- email script is somehow customizable, working design depends on used template, no chance of changing mail-exploit
- browser compatibility depends on the design template
- design of the website is restricted to programmers and third party templates
- design templates are not always consitent in design
- own design is hard XML work
hope this helps.
