I'm transitioning the content of my blog from Blogger to Moveable Type, following the (well-written) instructions here:
http://prete.ntio.us/archives/2005/03/how_to_migrate_your_weblog_from_blogger_to_movable_type.html
None of the programs I tried before this, including the command-line version of HTTrack (couldn't get it to build, some error about recv being defined twice), BlueCrab, WebSucker, or PictoGrab could do the simple task this program does easily and painlessly: download not only the images inline on the page (which all programs seemed to do pretty easily), but also the linked BIG versions of the images too.
All I had to do was add a simple restriction under the "Filter" tab, adding the text "photos1.blogger.com" to the Allowed Domains field (you can find this out pretty easily by looking at the URL of one of your Blogger photos). From there I just punched in my blog address on the "Standard Options" tab and bam! Photos downloaded. Beautiful work.
