An upgrade from an older version failed to start on my iMac G5, complaining that it "cannot be started due to an error in accessing the [...] configuration data". I solved this by applying the good old Mac OS voodoo of trashing the preferences (stored below ~/Library/Preferences/NeoOffice-1.x). Lucky I didn't have any precious preferences...
