"A hacked up port of the popular media player for Mac OS X running on Intel boxes.

The application is packaged in an application bundle and can be executed from the Finder. You can run it full-screen or windowed. Documentation is included.

A build of the mplayer GUI, also Intel is included, as are command-line builds of mplayer and mencoder. Requirements:
Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.x running on Intel

Status:

All available processor-specific optimizations are available
Win32 codecs are not supported yet. Assembler code needs to be ported to the Apple assembler first. I've got it to compile, but it does not link due to missing symbols.
Files do not always work when embedded in the GUI (the Mplayer OSX output) - this is a problem with the GUI, not mplayer itself."
