It would be great if it had .mac syncing support. Without it I won't try it. Please consider.

That's on my to-do list...

I actually got started on this, then realized that while the sync services API would do the job, there would definitely be a fair bit of work on my part to figure out how everything worked. (That is, its not the best documented API, and the sample code has a narrow range of functionality.)

In the meantime, there are some pressing UI issues I need to work out first.

So if you want to help... :-)

For what it's worth, I beleive there is a huge market for enhancing iCal to be able to do things like Frictionless + time tracking. My wish is for calendar, to-do's, be able to project manage and time tracking all in one app - or at least have a few that work together. Many Mac users are designers and many are freelancers that need to manage projects, track time and keep a tight calendar on their laptop and PDA.
Hopefully someone (you guys or Apple or someone) will be able to augment iCal or create a replacement that includes these extra features - like those in Frictionless.
