Ahum.... still no videochat support.
How typical that such a big company obviously suffers from a good marketing strategy.
Apple ported the iPod and QuickTime to all platforms.
MS is 10 times as big as Apple and you believe they can't make a Mac Messenger with videochat ?
Or perhaps........ they refuse to serve Mac customers.
If so it is bad marketing, if not they are just lazy.

Not the same.... - jkb4
First of all, don't even compare iTunes to Messenger. Apple makes a good portion of its profits directly from the sale of iTunes songs and iPods to PC users....MicroSoft makes no money selling Messenger to Mac users. They don't care about Mac users at all. They never will. They stopped making Windows Media Player for Mac, never updating it to the same level as they did for the PC. The only thing they have any interest in developing is Office for the Mac. They still make plenty off of that.
