I was thrilled to find this product, as I have dozens of old sound bytes in various formats from ages ago that my co-workers and I had fun with.

Upon installing, the extension worked as advertised, but within a minute or two, I noticed my Mac's CPU starting to audibly overwork itself.

Upon checking my Activity Monitor, SystemSound was using a whopping 65% of my CPU! That's unnacceptable.

That being said, I deactivated the preference pane, and I'm close to trashing this altogether. I really hope the developer is working on a fix, because this is a real gem.

Please fix!
