I've got to agree with gryphonent that the lack of support for DiskWarrior is disappointing. I've used DW extensively, both on pre-OS X systems and those running OS X. It's been an incredibly helpful tool in most cases. Although the remedy to the recent crash problems is straightforward, as Andreas pointed out, the fact that the problem hasn't been resolved by an update from Alsoft is hard to excuse. Thanks to gryphonent for pointing out that DW turns off journaling on volumes where it was previously turned on! I hadn't noticed that behavior before and discovered this morning that, sure enough, journaling was turned off on every one of my disk volumes, even though all partitions were originally created with journaling turned on. This is another problem that definitely needs to be remedied by Alsoft.
