Existing users, 
Have BitTorrent version 4.4.1. Am running Mac OS X 10.4.4 on a G4/800. When I launch BitTorrent it's icon bounces in the dock but it does not launch. Activity Monitor shows no BitTorrent process.
Just plain doesn't work. Does anyone know what if any the problem might be?
(Have tried turned off the firewall in System Preferences/Sharing and enabled FTP Access - no change in behavior)

I am having the same problem using 4.4.1 and OS X 10.4.5. I am, however, able to run BitTorrent under root, which I don't particularly like doing, but it works so far. just go into the console and type "sudo <location of bittorrent.app>/Contents/MacOS/BitTorrent".I hope they fix this soon.
