Sigh. I've been trying versions of ChronoSync since 1.0, and with this latest version, have the same experience that I've had since the beginning. For anything challenging, CS seems to choke on its own power.
I want to have a program to sync a laptop to a home server, a common setup, I would say. I want this to work over the network, since using target disk mode is an extra step. Unfortunately, this does not seem to work well - for large directory trees, I get disconnected from the server either during Analyze or the actual sync.
It also remains one of the slowest sync programs I have ever seen.
YMMV, obviously, but still frustratingly unusable for me.

Sounds like network problems. ChronoSync does not connect or disconnect you to volumes, the OS does. It is difficult to comment in regards to speed since there are so many factors involved but overall satisfaction for our customers is very high in this area.Reply to This
