what does this software do that Tiger's "Save As..." command doesn't?

or is this for people who aren't running Tiger?

I agree with you. Using "Command P", under Tiger, you can simply choose to save as a PDF file. It'll then go on yor desktop and then you can open it with the page intact. Try it!
