Used Product For: Less than a month

Downloaded VLC from mirror site wefixit.uk. Accompanied by a bad virus. Was only internet download to this Windows XP machine in 3 months, and no email traffic on this machine,so the virus had to piggyback on the VLC download. Watch out!

Funny, there is no site named wefixit.uk. There can't be, because all UK commercial domains end with .co.uk. Please check bbc.co.uk to verify.

Why would you try to download from some untrusted, 3rd party site when there is a download link to the videolan.org website right here on the versiontracker page?
