This is a .dmg in a stuffit archive. They saved a whopping 3 bytes and forced me to use the superfulous Stuffit Expander. Gotta love that clever icon though. If they've put as much effort into the gradebook as the icon, it should…er…pretty much suck.

Thanks, got a laugh out of your comment.Downloading the software, will comment on whether the software does in fact suck as much as the sad icon.

Christian EricksonIf you purely judging the software by it's icon and how is compressed you are being a little harsh. There are a few programs that have poor icons but it's a good program. I do agree that a good program with a bad looking icon is disappointing. That is how it is on the mac. If it's good inside, make the package as good as inside.
By your strong comment, I went to the developer's site to see how bad the software was. It turns out that it doesn't seem as bad as the icon. But since I have not tried the software, I can't tell for sure. I was just expecting the worst by Christian's harsh comments.
Also if you are not aware, a sit or zip format is more stable than dmg when downloading or being transmitted on the net. Don't be harsh to judge before you understand why people do what they do. And even if you do understand, say it in a considerate manner and they will reconsider.
Lastly, for Christian, have a little consideration and respect for the developer. If you spent endless hours and some punk comes by and mocks on your work, you would not feel positive either.
If you were face to face with the developer, you would not have the guts to say what you said. Be considerate and good will come around.
