Basically a pile of junk but I still gave it five stars

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Try it; buy it.

I mean hey the menubar mode doesn't work and it's totally cumbersome, but sitting in your dock as a startup item (configured to HIDE ALL and NOT LEAVE A FINDER WINDOW, or NOT MINIMIZE A FINDER WINDOW, does what it's purpose should be: Showing the DESKTOP. One click. Show the desktop. Like in Windows. Yeah. Windows. Not expose. Show the desktop. Show it; don't be afraid. Admit that finder is a total pile of garbage and you'll be free.

Now I know Apple is brilliant and I know expose works, and I know working out of a finder window prevents chugging the desktop database- but let's just be honest here: We don't all have wide screens. Test your OS on a 12' iBook- that's my theory, then we'll see some heads roll.

Download this now and be done with it. End the pain.

How is it "...Basically a pile of junk..."?? - matthk--2008

"...I mean hey the menubar mode doesn't work and it's totally cumbersome..."

Um, the menubar mode DOES work and always has and if it's
not working for you, then you've either NOT set the preferences
correctly or your Mac is messed up and needs sorting.

As for the claim that it's CUMBERSOME this is beyond belief and
makes me wonder if we're talking about the same piece of software
as Show Desktop is as uncumbersome a utility as I've ever seen.
