Just found this nice little util listed in today's Version Tracker update and since this sort of stuff grabs my attention I tried it out. I use both Panther and Tiger. So, the default download (Tiger) does nothing for my main Laptop (still running Panther). Found the Panther verison. Downloaded, works like a charm. I have two basestations on my network. An Airport Extreme is the main connection to DSL and an Airport Estreme to extend the network and also push music into my sound system.
The whole thing works just fine.
To the guy *censored*ing about paying for something that doesn't work. I have no idea why you've getting problems. Suggest you contact the developer. I can't understand why you paid before you tried the 30 day trial is more than generous.
To the developer - Nice one. Would love to see some graphical overviews of load on the basestations. Numbers are not (and I suspect this is true of most of us) my hot thing.
One slight niggle. Set up both basestations to make noises when a new device comes onto the network. Not a peep. Does this bug me, not really. Would have been sweet - would allow me to get an idea when my buddy connects to the network.
