After you register ... you are taken to a page with -- apparently -- nothing to download.

DO wish Cisco would get its act together on this ....

Nothing to donwload - bisquick

Yes there is. Look down near the bottom of the page. There are links for Mac OS X (and other platforms). That will take you to another page, where you answer some question, then to the download page.

I thought that same thing as you the first time, but trust me, it's there. I've just downloaded it. :)

I get to the web page with the links corresponding to the various platforms, and it says that there is no file for Mac OS X available to download.

It's there for me... - bisquick

Okay, not sure what Cisco login you have. Maybe it isn't avaiable with yours, but here's what I do:

1. Click on the Versiontracker download page. It will redirect you to a page that requires http authentication. It will ask for your Cisco usernamd and password. Enter it.

2. You will see a page that is probably the one you're thinking is telling there are no files. It looks like this:

Cisco VPN Client 3DES Cryptographic SW

14-AUG-2003 VPN DISTRIBUTION Read More...

NOTE:
There are currently no files for this type.

3. WRONGO - there ARE files! Look a little further down ON THAT SAME PAGE. There is a link labeled:

"Mac OS X VPN Client Downloads"

Click that link!

4. On the next page, there are 8 files. Included in that list, is the following:

vpnclient-darwin-4.9.00.0050-universal-k9.dmg
Mac OS X 10.4 ONLY VPN GUI Client (Intel/PPC)

Click that link. It will give you another http authentication page; use the same username and password as you did on the first page. The download will begin.

It's there for me... - cairndubh

Nope. I think it's only there for you because you are using a login that has some kind of support activated for downloading the Cisco VPN clients. The vast majority of people can't download this thing: even after you click the link at the bottom, there are no files to download.

Cisco's web site is the worst organized and most haphazard mess I've ever seen on the internet, and they seem to go out of their way to make it hard to use their software.

Geesh, so I guess I have to wait a year or so until my lumbering slow ass company get around to "blessing" a version of the VPN client that actually works on Intel Mac. Sad, another reason for me to have to keep using Windows :(

Nothing to donwload - George Oster

Indeed, Cisco's web site is a nightmare. And I too cannot download VPN 4.9, despite following the directions meticulously. Some people apparently can download it, but others (including me) cannot.

Why can't VersionTracker simply post it on their server?

Wow, is Cisco messed-up!

Anyway, I found I could download it from a UCLA server:
