What part of ALL OF OUR CODE IS ORIGINAL don't you understand? And yes, there are hundreds of widget developers out there. Some of them have created some brilliant widgets, and poured hours and hours into their work, only to be haggled by someone like you.
Thanks for that.

Btw, if you have some facts, then please post them here. I'd love to know what we've stolen. Go on! DO IT!Tuesday, February 14 2006 @ 04:21 AM PST

"Well at least the ones other developers are creating were original ideas written from their own code"The "from their own code" is a pretty massive claim, and YES, it does make it sound like we didn't write the entire thing from scratch, which of course we have for all of our widgets.
Plus, we NEVER claimed that I Love Lamp was an original idea. As you've seen from the thread, we've kept in contact with the guy who requested it.
So... now I have a question for you. What made you question where we get our ideas, graphics and code from? You've done it a few times now and it seems like you must be getting some really bad info from somewhere.
Fess up.

I have nothing to "fess up to".Interesting though that this widget is "phoning home" according to one reviewer elsewhere: - http://www.macupdate.com/users/hackono
You're explanation is that it is checking for updates, is that really necessary for a widget that is nothing more than a bauble?

Hahahahah!! It never ends!!All of our widgets check to see if they're the latest version once a day. Feel free to use lil' snitch to confirm.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

Surely you don't believe you're the only one creating widgets??Well at least the ones other developers are creating were original ideas written from their own code. It's a good thing you're offering them for free otherwise the originator of your widgets would be out of pocket I guess.
