You could not have to connect to the internet get get the maps that you need. I would enjoy this even more if you could just download all the maps that are available or even just the ones you want and save them locally that way you if you are in an area that does not have net access (like on the road in the middle of nowhere) that way you could just pull up the map and show you your way of travel. This also just came to mind, perhaps add some kind pf GPS support as well. That way you could connect a USB GPS unit and have it zero in on where you are.
