Flash animations can make life online more interesting, but...
Am I the only one who finds web pages cluttered with annoying Flash advertisements and frivolous, distracting 'entertainments'? These make my processor work hard and get hot and cause the fan on my laptop to make noise. They almost never offer useful information.
Why can't I stop them? Why isn't there a button to disable Flash at these times? Even my TV has a MUTE button to help me survive the commercial noise! Perhaps the publisher of Flash is more interested in making advertisers happy than having pity on the poor users.
Please comment if you know how to temporarily disable Flash content.

Hello bs!It is possible to stop flash but therefor you have to use Camino (http://www.caminobrowser.org/).
Install camino and after that install CamiTools (http://www.nadamac.de/camitools/index.php). With CamiTools you can block flash and also advertisement. If you want to view the flash content, you can click on a placeholder.
It's a great tool. I use it since a few month and it works absolutely perfect and camino is also better than safari.
Greetings
Christian

SafariBlock is a program that can block ads in Safari. It also blocks Flash ads so you would only see flash things that are parts of websites, not the ads.Reply to This
