a cool application but so rediculously slow (maybe its my mac mini) that its useless

If you have nothing better to say, then SHUT UP. At least these developers put their brain cells to better use than to bash other people's work. Stupid is, stupid does...

really slow...mini brain - Tyaris Major

A comment about an application's performance is a perfectly legitimate thing to post here. What, you have to say nice things or say nothing? Under that rule, there's a whole bunch of applications on VT that would never have anyone posting any comments any time ever.

I like Image Tricks, and I recommend it to people; it's like a latter-day PixelNhance, but if there is (or was, this is circa v1.2) a performance issue with it, such that it's slower than Photoshop, then it probably needs to be addressed by the developer, or perhaps the recommended specs need to be bumped up.

If you can't say anything nice to people who post fairly reasonable (okay, maybe could have been worded a little more tactfully) comments, then you might consider shutting up yourself.

I agree — the original comment was legitimate comment, and a worthwhile comparison with Photoshop.
