Frustrated, cannot recommend upgrade

As a longtime (since 6/04) very satisfied user of version 5.0+ I was looking forward to upgrading to the 6.0 version. That is, until I noticed that with the database schema change, my 5.5.5 version "date created" fields would be overwritten to the date at the time of conversion. Since I use that field for searching, this would be unacceptable. Bruno's excuse was that "MacOS seems to prevent me from setting the dates "in the past". I'm not a programmer, so I can't verify if this is true or not, but the idea of being "stuck" without the possibility of staying current with programing advances is very frustrating. Further repeated emails from me went unanswered. For this reason, I am not recommending the purchase of this program, since an unforseen or unknown programing oversight may lead you to a data dead end.

Losing the "date created" attribute is a huge issue for me as well. I'm sticking with 5.5 until either iOrganize 6 can import this data or Yojimbo gets better category support. I like a lot of things about Yojimbo but it isn't currently complex enough to replace iOrg.
