I compared 4.4 with 4.2 on the same torrent file, same Mac, same network. Ran 4.4 first, then 4.2, and so on. 4.4 gives me 5K/s, 4.2 gives me >20K/s. That's an insane difference.

SLOW - badtzjunk
same here ....! All of a sudden one of the 4.3.x betas started going extremely slow on torrents I know that should be much MUCH faster.4.4.0 is still sluggishly downloading :( ... back to 4.2.x

Still slow - runmad
Bittorrent was always slow for me. Certain times I could get 20+ kbps like you. I thought that was normal for downloading Torrent files. Then I checked out Azureus. It says I don't have proper NAT settings, I have done everything but can't solve it. Azureus still downloads files way faster. Sometimes I get 40+ kbps with it. And of course more when downloading several torrents..Reply to This
