I tried the Yojimbo demo, but ended up uninstalling it. Now there's an item in my .Mac Sync preferences that I can't get rid of: "com.barebones.yojimbo.yojimbodata". What is this?
When Yojimbo is run for the first time, it lets the system know that it supports .Mac synchronization. Unfortunately, when any application that has done so is subsequently deleted, the system doesn't know to remove the application's registration from the .Mac Sync preferences UI. At this writing, there is no way to remove the item manually.
We have reported this problem to Apple. In the meantime, no damage has been done to your system, and while there's no way to remove the "stale" item, its presence in the .Mac Sync preferences won't interfere with .Mac synchronization of other data, nor will it cause any other problems with your system, so it can be safely ignored.

Good review of the iSync feature although it's not really a complete enough review IMHO to give app a one star. Still worth reading as this is one feature that attracts me. I gave most reviews a "helpful" comment as a number of users had information to add. Think I'll wait a bit beyond vers. 1.0 but this does look promising to me as I have two Macs I'd like to sync.Reply to This
