I've used Sync pro before and it worked well for me.
But not this beta version.
I made a backup to my firewire disk,erased my disk and got it back.
Luckily I only backed up my apps folder and Users since when I tried to use it most of the apps didn't work anymore.
I used Carbon Copy Cloner(great app-still works as root user)for system private and other system related files.
Now,what happened,most of the executables inside the apps MacOS folder were set to read and write but not execute.
Is I backed up with Sync pro my disk would be unusable.
So,I tried to use Xray,that didn't do the trick and is also not free.
Batchmod is by far the best app and FREE.
Beware of sync pro,I don't use it anymore and use CCC instead.
And,its also free!!
Took me hours to find out and repair it.
A not so happy former user.
