The people who would download this widget and install it would probably not be disappointed; it's very simplistic, small and tidy. It can sit in the corner of the screen, or the dead center, and casually informs you of the end of President Bush's second term whenever you activate the dashboard.

As far as politics goes, this widget is pretty partisan. I felt it went a little overboard when I turned it around, and got a handful of links to remind me that I'm more than a little upset with- well, you know.

If you want to use this widget, please keep in mind that its presence may lead to moments of reflection that could interrupt your productivity. That said, this is a well-designed, free widget that you won't tire of for the next 1,085 days.
