Declinging Useabilty disappoints...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

I really do love this app, but it is starting to suffer feature bloat at the same time that older, important features are breaking. I for one, can no longer get iTunes to respond in any meaningful way to what I do in coverflow:

double clicking an album starts a nice zoom effect, but nothing happens in iTunes.

while listening to a track in iTunes, and flipping through the album covers and double clicking one in coverflow starts a nice zoom, and the coverflow quickly flips back to the already playing track.

The stop, forward and back buttons do nothing for me.

Who knows, maybe its my rig, but all apps and OS are current...

It's still pretty, but I can't show off to Winblows people any more - once again my mac looks like tempermental, barely functional eye candy :-(

I have the same problem: double-clicking in CoverFlow doesn't start the album in iTunes. Instead it seems to "add files" to iTunes for some reason...

Except in the end it doesn't add anything...

One thing that I have found that triggers this problem is to double-click on an album that all (or at least the first) song in your iTunes library is missing. (Can't find song.) When this occurs, iTunes keeps playing the already playing song. And sometimes, CoverFlow seems to quit talking to iTunes.

It still searches for art on the web. Just can't talk to iTunes. Close iTunes and reopen it. And/or close and re-open CoverFlow. It starts working again.
