Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Here is how to fix yours... Ijust did an autotune

As mentioned in the EyeTV 2 read me, all current and new EyeTV users must run through every step of the Setup Assistant, including the Auto Tune, in order for the new Program Guide to activate. You must do this after installing EyeTV 2.

Once that happens, then the Program Guide can be used, and updated as shown in the EyeTV 2 Software Manual PDF.

If you’re already tried that setup, then also try this:

1) Enter EyeTV preferences (Under EyeTV on the Top Menu).
2) Press the Guide Tab.
3) Select the TitanTV Guide from Service.
4) Close EyeTV prefs Window.
5) Quit out of EyeTV.
6) Relaunch EyeTV.
7) Click the Channel List.
8) Click the Action button (the gear icon at the top of the EyeTV Program Window) and click Channel Lineup (follow the instructions).
9) Enter Programs Guide and click the Action button, and click Update TitanTV (it should be updating and this could take a few minutes).
10) Allow it to finish its update.

If you have further problems, then there may be rare permissions problems with EyeTV Applications Support folder, in Library/Application Support/EyeTV. You can make that folder read and write for all users, then re-run the Setup Assistant, which should fix any other issues.

There also could have been an issue with the preference migration from an earlier version of EyeTV, to 2.0. Thus, removing (backing up) preferences, and doing a more “clean install”, might resolve things. See this FAQ item for more general steps to diagnose or repair a troublesome setup:

Fixed the Program Guide - miketall

I still had problems after trying every recommendation from El Gato on this matter. There still seemed to be some lingering channels and info from a previous location where I had lived. The 2.01 update fixed this problem for me. Now all display info shows correctly.
