Based on these reviews, I can't help but recommend using Handbrake instead. It's got a way more encoding options, it's reliable and best of all...it's FREE.

Just use Handbrake instead... - gslusher

A major problem with Handbrake: it works only with DVDs or DVD video folders. It does not convert video files. A quick check on the Handbrake page here would have shown you that. Handbrake is good, but it doesn't do all of what this app does.
