I tried downloading this several times and keep getting .xpi files. How about a .zip or .sit or a .dmg?

Hi.
You need to take the XPI file and drag it onto an open Firefox window. Sorry, not very Mac-like! :-)

That's because it's a Firefox/Flock browser plugin and not an application. This really should be listed on addons.mozilla.com.

Drag the .xpi file onto an open window in Flock. After restarting Flock it will be activated.

You can also right-click (or control-click [? it's been so long, I forget], for those who are still living in the Dark Ages with a one-button mouse) and save the .xpi file to disk, then use the Firefox plugin "MR Tech Local Install" to do the actual installation.

I do this with all my FF plugins, in case one gets corrupted or I want to install it on someone else's confuser without needing to download it again.

MR Tech Local Install ROCKS. It's one of the first add-ons I always recommend to FF noobs. Run, don't walk, to the Mozilla add-ons site and grab a copy.

That is because this is an addon for Firefox nor an application.
