Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

I have been using Path Finder for years now, and am more impressed with this released than any previous.

My only complaint:

I really, really wish it had an option to truly replace the Finder. I always feel like I am wasting some processor cycles by having them both running.

Quit Finder - rjvh

If you have Cocktail, one of the interface options is "Show Quit in Finder Menu". This should do exactly what you want. This is an option in the Finder PList preferences - "QuitMenu Item" YES/NO which can be changed using Property List Editor. Good luck!

There's a preference to disable the Finder. Check it out.

Does that pref remove the Finder from the Dock and put Path Finder in its place?
