Why support and updates ended for all of us that still use Panther? I am not going to use Tiger any time soon. DiscBlaze has been my favorite burning program that I have "purchased." I liked it better than the Roxio products . . . but at least they still support my OS.

Well why don't you just go and "purchase" Tiger?BTW, maybe you should talk about "purchasing" apps somewhere other than Versiontracker? Developers might get a little pissed off with such talk, you know?

10.4 provides additional functionality - BryanLAS
There are some features that simply cannot be done (or done in a timely fashion) under 10.3. That is why 10.4 is required.DiscBlaze 5.1 is still available for download from radicalbreeze.com and sitll functions under 10.3.x if you wish to keep using 10.3.
