I tried this program, but quickly gave up. One thing sorely missing is a serial number column! Cant live without it! Sorry for bad rating, but the program is just unsuable to me without it.
Using the comment field as a serial number doesn't cut it, I need the comments field as well.
I store CD's by numbering them. How could I find them if they are not stored in some form of serial order? I don't know any other way (if there is one, I'd like to know!)
So I need a flexible serial number column, that would by default be the leftmost column.
There should be custom & flexible formatting of the serial number as user wishes, like "prefix1234suffix", where "prefix" and "suffix" is set by the user, and 1234 is the serial number (user sets the number of digits).
CDFinder should check unicity of serial number, but not enforce necessarily their sequentiality from 1 (so that CD's can be entered in any order).
Sequential auto-assignment of serial number should be an option, and the serial number should be editable.

Serial numbering is a very good suggestion! - Lickableunix
Serial number column is a must-have for you, but probably a good suggestion for most others .. only my opinion.. but I think the 2 stars is a bit rough on this basis. But i'm keeping an open mind: 'Any other issues you may be unhappy with concerning this product?please share,
