Hey gang,
downloaded + installed FinderCleaner, and tried to run it on my MMC-card for my camera. Asks for admin-pwd, then whirrs a little - then comes back with a "Variable autoeject not defined" message, where you can click OK - and nothing happens? Is this the eject-problem mentioned in earlier versions?
I'm running OS X 10.4.4 on a 1.5 GhZ PB with 1.5 GB RAM...

Variable autoeject not defined...? - melonious
I get the same error when trying to "clean" a mounted network volume (from a PC). I've just redownloaded the dmg from the developer's website and still the same result. As a small note to the developer, maybe you should change the text on your site to read FinderCleaner 1.9 rather than 1.8. Also perhaps include the build number in the filename of the dmg (i.e. findercleaner1.9.dmg rather than just findercleaner.dmg every time).
Other than that, thanks.

When did you download this version? Seems you have a broken one. Try downloading it again or contact me for a good version and it should work fine.Reply to This
