I've been using VLC regularly on 10.4.3 with no problems. Since upgrading to 10.4.4 I've experienced a few crashes. Anyone had problems since upgrading?

Crashes with 10.4.4 - wheeles
Now that you mention it I have had Safari and Mail crash a bit more frequently and a couple of other apps (iTunes-LAME just crashed). It's not all the time as I am experiencing with VLC, but only now and again. I have found that MPlayer is a more stable player at the moment but more of a resource hog.I think I shall start submitting every crash report to Apple in the hope that it will get a little higher up the list of priorities.

Flip4Mac Seems to be the problem! - wheeles
Well, it looks like I have falsely accused VLC and 10.4.4. On a hunch I just removed Flip4Mac and guess what? VLC works again.Wednesday, January 25 2006 @ 04:01 PM PST

johnnysearing - is your ram working properly? run apple hardware test.anyways, it didnt cought up my attention, but you are right with vlc crashing after upgrading to 10.4.4, i have noticed that when trying to play an ogm movie, sometimes vlc crashes just at start (very very rarely)

YES YES YES!!I have been having problems since I updated to 10.4.4
Mail, Safari, and other apps would just crash.
I couldn't find help anywhere so I went out to buy a new Hard Drive and reinstalled Tiger. I was so happy! Everything was working great. Then I did a software update to 10.4.4 and BAM! Same programs crashing again!
This Sucks!
