I had to convert to DV for editing a DVD produced by a set-top DVD recorder... all the other converters, even the shareware ones and FFmpeg, failed. After the conversion I discovered that the DVD was recorded half-size. Don't know if was it that crashed other converters, but Drop2DV was the only one to solve my problem perfectly.
