Are you sure you located the info.plist? It should open either in TextEdit or in Property List Editor (if you have it installed). Control-click on the bundle and select 'Show Package Contents'. OR wait 24 hours – the developer is ususally extremely quick with updates.

You´re a god!!! Being a newbie, cost me a minute though to get it that I had to right-click "PithHelmet.bundle" and choose "Show package content" to get there...Still, worked immediately!
Thanx a bunch!!

Sorry guys. =(------------
As many astute users have noticed, PithHelmet 2.6.3 does not work in Safari 2.0.3, included with the OS X 10.4.4 update. I'm working on it - don't worry. While I'm at it, I should mention that PithHelmet doesn't run on Intel based Macs (not that most of you would have one yet).
Oh, another cautionary note - if you have tried to "hack" your copy of PithHelmet to try and make it work with Safari 2.0.3, you will notice that it seems to work. There are actually several binary incompatibilities which can cause seemingly random crashes.

Thanks for the info. No Safari crashes here so far using the unsupported SIMBL patch since yesterday. I'd have more tolerance with an occasional crash than browsing without PH and being assaulted with sensory overloading noise (I'm being polite). I barely survived it on Tuesday just visiting Apple/Mac-related sites during and after the Stevenote. Yikes!Thursday, January 12 2006 @ 01:11 PM PST

I tried to open that file with textedit.app but it said it was an improper file format. What can I use to open that? Thanks!
