The strength in NUTD/NC has been it's ability to share contacts and calendars between Mac/Windows clients. NUTD/NC 5 saw some important fixes to long standing and documented issues with shared calendars/contacts. It was disappointing to see that these fixes weren't available as free updates. Instead Now Software opted for the user pays upgrade arguing an extended range of new features. On top of that, we are now many months into the release of v5 for Mac and we still have not seen its counterpart v5 for Windows released. All those users with mixed platforms, dying to get access to the fixes in v5, still cannot impliment v5 in anyway until v5 for Windows is finally released -a point that seems lost on Now Software.
