I highly doubt there will ever be an Auto-Activation plugin for Illustrator because it already takes forever for Illustrator to initially open... loading plugins, fonts, etc. I can't imagine what it would have to do just to open one more font while the app is already open... most likely have to reload all the fonts just to insert the one.
