Maybe 5.0.3 fixes the problems people claimed for 5.0.2.

I haven't tried Missing Sync for Palm OS, but I'm interested. My wife has a Z22 and I wonder if it is worth it to get this for her to synchronize with OS X's AddressBook, iCal, etc. or if she should just use Palm Desktop? Is Missing Sync really as bad as some claim? If so, are there any alternatives?

I haven't seen many complaints about The Missing Sync. My experience with it has been pretty much trouble-free, in fact better than my experience with Palm Desktop. I've ended up with calendar duplicates once, because I made an error when syncing the first time after a reinstallation.

Up until version 5, most people would agree that Missing Sync was fantastic. Certainly the best option out there for Mac/Palm users.

I think that with this new version, there are some glitches with the rearchitecture.

I am downloading 5.0.3 so I can see what's up.

I would hold off and wait to see if they have fixed this software. If you look at the laundry list of things they have changed, you might be tempted. But there are similar laundry lists of improvements for previous versions that were in fact disasterous for many. If you like to take risk go for it and let us know though how it turns out.

As for me, I've stopped syncing with my Mac completely, I don't let my Palm anywhere near it anymore. I'll wait a good while to tempt it again with this update.
