From what I can see logitech is using the IOXperts driver in its most basic form. I have a QC 4000 on OS 10.4 and the best I can do is the video.. but none of the other features that come with the pro i.e. zoom, face following work. Ya I see a picture, but for the price.. Mac users.. Buy a iSight because logitech HATES MAC!!!! ps.. worst company ever.... pps old software.. 2003, and doesn't even support the QC 3000!!

Logitech hates mac - pick117

Not so. A short time ago Logitech made several webcams for Mac with software. Recently Apple stopped making their ISight webcam and now they are only found in Apple computers. Apple bought sole rights to a Logitech webcam that they sell in their store for $150 with no software. It appears that they also stuck some kind of agreement with Logitech suspending any and all support from that company for past or future Mac support. A deal where loyal customers get screwed again.

I have a Logitech "Orbit" on a Mac G5 that gives a great picture and sound. However, the LOgitech "Orbit" operating program 8.0.1 for Mac does not recognize the camera. I use "Skype" to communicate with many different system PC or Mac -DSL or BB.
