Can the developer please explain if this version is truly free, or really shareware (with a demo period perhaps) or commercial? Any package that lists improvements in its registration system in the "What's new in this version" section doesn't sound free to me .
If it's not really free then VersionTracker needs to be updated to reflect that.
I also noticed that VersionTracker's total download count for all versions of this package got reset for some reason. Maybe the developers submitted this version as something entirely new instead of an update to a prior entry.

I don't think version-tracker has a category for "donation-ware". But I think that a flag after every restart might be considered by some to be "Nag-ware".In my book, Freeware means you download it and use it without any "reminders". If in the documentation or installer text of freeware there is a little note about making a donation-- that's fine.

Unless the developer added registration but kept the same version number, I've been running v.1.2 of this for several months. It's freeware with a little flag that pops up after each restart that asks if you want to donate $3. It's non-obtrusive and there do not appear to be any limitations to the functionality.Reply to This
