Without a doubt one of the most confusing programs I have ever tried since I started using Macs in 1998.
I have tried again and again to make an editable copy of simple PDF with a few graphics with completely unexceptable results. Their support was quick but unhelpful. Their support presumes your at their level of knowlege.
I have put hours into trying to learn this thing with nothing to show for it.
Guy at local Apple Store tried to get me to pay $100 per year for "ProCare". They said they would even provide training for various programs. When I mentioned Readiris his eyes bugged out and he said "No, thats too specialized" and they know nothing about it." If the Apple Geniuses at Apple Store can't deal with Readiris, how can we consumers deal with it?

Confusing. - davert
So you're holding the program accountable for the weakness of your Apple Store rep? It's not THAT consuing.

Not so confusing... - montever
Actually, although I haven't gotten deeply into the program, I was able to use it to create a .rtf file from a xerox copy of a list without looking at the documentation. I was also able to point the program to the correct application, and set it up for Epson Twain (for my Scanner) without a hitch. It's true I haven't tried to create a pdf....
