...and Camino is the browser I ALWAYS come back to! I can't always even put my finger on it, but there's something about how incredibly simple but infinitely functional Camino continues to be. I try new apps on my Mac almost daily, always looking for something better, something smarter, something easier, and browsers are no exception. In one of my forays into Firefox, I finally noticed something beyond a general feeling of discomfort while trying to do my usual prowl for information. I attempted to fill out a form, and as usual, tabbed my way through the fields. Irritatingly, the cursor/highlight skipped over the drop-down menus and a)I had to backtrack when I put a W in the zip field; b)I had to waste time grabbing my mouse to both make selections in all menus and click on the "Ok" or "Submit" button at the bottom. I'm very accustomed to the speed with which I can tab through a form like that, and it was NOT pleasing to be held up. I exited immediately, not likely to return! Additionally, the design of the pull-down menus in a form in Firefox was very ugly and Windows-like. Camino has nice, smooth, rounded menus that fit so nicely within any and all web pages and blend well with OSX. One more comparison: Safari. I gave it a fair chance because it's the Apple browser of choice these days. But I hate it!!! It is so bulky and ugly I can't even STAND it. I know that brushed aluminum look is all the OSX rage, but it takes up tons of space and clutters my viewing to have it on all four sides. I love how I don't even notice Camino when I'm using it, my window can go all the way to the edges but I still have functionality between the scroll bar and the info at the bottom. Wahoo! YAY CAMINO!!! P.S. It NEVER crashes.
